[Wanda pulls into the garage of Bucky's building to meet him at his request. She was surprised to get the call but she wasn't mad. She'd been hiding out on her own for awhile now, and it was starting to wear on her. A change of scenery and some company wouldn'tbe unwelcome]

I can. But it may not be wise.

[Alcohol can lower inhibitions, she knows what can happen when she’s not in control or herself and her powers.]

Getting drunk usually is. I still miss it.

Is it entirely impossible for you? Or is typical alcohol just too weak?

[Like would Asgardian ale work where Earth beer fails?]

[leftcold]

Too weak. I metabolize it too fast. I suppose in theory if I drank enough of it fast enough, I might be able to work up a buzz, but I haven't tried that hard.

[He may have tried a little.]

So, you need something stronger.

[leftcold]

Like ethanol?

[behexed]

I was thinking something more Asgardian. Something that can get Thor drunk may have some effect on you.

I'd figure so. I might have a high tolerance, but I'm not an actual god.

[behexed]

It might be worth trying sometime, then.

Are you trying to get me drunk, Wanda?

[behexed]

I thought you wanted to get drunk.

[leftcold]

I do. I'm just not sure you should be enabling me.

[behexed]

I won't if you don't want me to.

[A pause.]

Do you worry about what would happen if you managed it?

[leftcold]

You mean that I'd get maudlin and maybe pick a fight?

[behexed]

I admit, that particular scenario hadn't occurred to me.

[leftcold]

What were you picturing?

[behexed]

Nothing very specific. But I'm the only person here to pick a fight with.

[leftcold]

I'm not that stupid. You could turn me into a frog.

[behexed]

[She's amused.]

Yes, I could.

But I could also turn American beer into Asgardian ale if you ever wanted to try it. It's up to you, though, if you want to risk it.

[leftcold]

I'll keep that in mind.

[She's just finishing up her sandwich.]

Is it safe to try dessert yet, do you think?

All right, all right. Go ahead.

[Because there's a blueberry cream cheese danish in there with her name on it.]

[She's teasing him. But she does look pleased when she takes the Danish out of the bag.]

That doesn't make us going on a trip together sound any less weird, does it?
